About me
I have over 25+ years’ work experience in education, training and communication both in the for-profit and non-profit sector. Since 2015, I have worked passionately as an Executive Coach (PCC) providing individual sessions as well as conducting team coaching workshops. My work in the coaching industry has given me the opportunity to work with clients from across the globe navigating different communication styles and cultural behaviors. I also teach ICF accredited training courses for aspiring coaches in an academic setting as well as providing coaching leadership trainings for groups of corporate executives.
Having spent nearly half my life living on a new continent has also led me to specialize in cross-cultural communications and public speaking for foreign audiences. I’ve coached hundreds of people to become more aware of the impact they have on others through recognizing the environment in which they operate, helping them to understand the wide spectrum of high and low-context cultures and effective communication within these diverse cultural backgrounds.
I enjoy bringing empathy and creativity to the workplace. I place great value on my clients and workshop participants. I utilize trust in my coaching approach, and that means I believe that each individual is already full of the resources and creativity needed to overcome obstacles. An essential part is creating a space in which people can flourish by providing a warm environment, strategizing and giving honest, constructive feedback.
Most of all I like to be able to have fun doing my job.
“A sense of humor is part of the art of leadership, of getting along with people, of getting things done.”
― Dwight D. Eisenhower
